Cancer Survivor Terminology
Post Traumatic Growth: A positive psychological change experienced as a result of the struggle with highly challenging life circumstances such as cancer.
Cancerversary: A date that is important to you related to your cancer experience. For example, the date you started treatment or the anniversary of your diagnosis.
