DESCRIPTION:On July 10\, the ACS Comprehensive Cancer Initiative team will discuss the impact of stigma on access to cancer screening and provide suggested strategies to reduce this barrier. \n“Overcoming Stigma as a Barrier to Equitable Lung Cancer Care” \nIn collaboration with the ACS National Lung Cancer Roundtable\, join us on July 10\, 2024\, from 1-2 PM EST. Register now to participate. \nKeynote Speakers: \nDr. Lisa Carter-Bawa is the Director of the Cancer Prevention Precision Control Institute at the Center for Discovery & Innovation (CDI) at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey; Co-Leader of the Cancer Prevention & Control Program; and a Co-Director of Community Outreach & Engagement for the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Consortium. \nDr. Jamie L. Studts is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Scientific Director of Behavioral Oncology.
