DESCRIPTION:From Cancer Coalition partner Sara Milner with Falls Community Health: \n“The Blue Move was started 8 years ago. As CRC Navigator at Falls Community Health I became aware of the overwhelming need for funding for CRC screenings specifically colonoscopies. Many of our patients are underinsured and uninsured and unfortunately those who had a +ifobt\, were unable to receive their necessary next screening\, a colonoscopy. With my love of races I started “The Blue Move” a 5K run/walk and 1 mile event. This family friendly event follows the Big Sioux River with a beautiful route; out and back. Every half mile learn facts about colorectal cancer and finish the race by running through a large\, inflatable colon!
