DESCRIPTION:7th Annual Immunize South Dakota Conference \n7 am – 5 pm \nSeptember 26\, 2023 \nSioux Falls Convention Center \n$150 general \n$100 virtual \n$75 student \nThe 7th annual state-wide Immunize SD Conference: Building Community through Connection will be held on September 26. This year’s event will demonstrate how community engagement impacts the health of the people in the community. Our opening keynote will talk about building trust with patients by meeting them where they are\, why engaging and giving back to their communities is important\, and how understanding their needs leads to better care. Our closing speaker will discuss how to become involved with your community and different ways to give back. Sessions throughout the day will cover specific vaccination topics as well as strategies to overcome barriers to care and improve vaccine confidence.  \nIn-person in Sioux Falls with a virtual attendance option\, this conference is intended to promote immunizations throughout South Dakota by supporting health care providers through education and community outreach resources. \nMore info and register: https://www.immunizesd.org/2023-conference/
