Marshall, professor of pediatrics, chief at the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, will present information about why people accept anecdotal experiences as indicative of causal relationships; how to counteract thought patterns that lead to vaccine refusal; and how to maintain high immunization rates despite pervasive vaccine hesitancy.
